Susan co-founded her coaching and leadership development company in1994 and has subsequently worked with CEO.s and executive teams within a range of private and public sectors in Australia and New Zealand. She has extensive experience in the design and facilitation of senior leader development programs. While Susan has worked with middle managers upwards, her primary focus has been at the CEO and executive team level so she has specific insights into the challenges for senior leaders. Her background in both clinical and organisational psychology gives her a unique understanding of the underlying behavioural drivers of leaders, which either enable or derail leadership potential.

Susan is an accomplished speaker and has been invited to present at several leadership conferences during the course of 2016 on the topics of effective leadership, culture change and cross functional relationships.

Susan has a strong background in training and facilitation. Early in her career, Susan developed and implemented a postgraduate training program at Macquarie University and is currently an honorary associate. She has also published widely including professional journal publications, a regular weekly column for one of Australia.s leading women.s magazines and co-authoring a book .Picking Up the Pieces. (Allen and Unwin, 1987).

When working with leadership and management groups, Susan is able to deliver her expertise in a range of core management and leadership competencies, including visioning and strategy, executive team development, effective delegation and feedback, coaching for results, managing different personalities, performance management, growing business EQ, building accountability and ownership, influence and negotiation, critical conversations and conflict resolution. She is an accredited consultant in the use of the Myers Briggs Type Indicator, MTR-i Team Roles inventory, EBW emotional intelligence assessment, Hogan Assessment Systems, Life Styles Inventory, Organisational Culture Inventory & Leadership Impact (Human Synergistics); Benchmarks 360 (APP); Leadership Effectiveness Analysis, Strategic Directions and Personal Directions (MRG).
